The people who make up La Botiga

The policy we follow for the management and development of people is aligned with the set of values, beliefs and essential elements of our project. Based on the belief that people have different dimensions, and that the work or professional is only one, we work to understand and support them from their global perspective.

When a person joins our project, the first thing we do is start an immersion process aimed at learning about the pillars and culture of La Botiga to generate commitment, work together and create collaborative bonds that transcend the self, and that end up giving great meaning to the work.

The services available to people at La Botiga

La Botiga offers people who are part of the organization a wide range of services and activities aimed at promoting personal and professional growth, well-being and family reconciliation. For people in vulnerable situations, access to housing, leisure activities and others aimed at improving health.

Dairy production

The plant for the production of our yoghurts, desserts and cheeses employs around 120 people and operates from Monday to Friday, in morning, afternoon or evening shifts. The tasks carried out begin when the milk arrives at the plant and end with the dispatch of the products. The technicians are responsible for setting up and monitoring all the processes, such as pasteurisation, fermentation and packaging.

The farm

About ten people work at the La Botiga farm, who take care of tasks related to the care and well-being of the goats, their feeding, cleaning the living quarters, grazing, milking and maintaining the facilities, among others. The farm operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. For this reason, the staff works in rotating shifts.

Gardening

Gardening colleagues work both in Ullastrell and in other municipalities in the Vallés region. They are responsible for tasks such as tree pruning, cleaning and clearing, creating gardens and floral ornaments, planting and forestry work, among others.

Central services

La Botiga’s central services operate from Ullastrell and bring together all the management teams that are essential to carry out and complement business and socio-labor activities. We refer to the areas of management and people development, finance, sales and marketing, quality and innovation, ICT or communication.

Social area

A team made up of professionals from disciplines such as psychology, pedagogy, social education or social work, among others, is responsible for meeting the different needs of people in vulnerable situations by supporting them in the field of work, in the development of daily life, in their leisure time, etc. The needs of these people include issues related to housing, training, the organization of your leisure time or very specialized care. For this reason, the area works from a global perspective and a very transversal vision.

Servei d'Atenció al Visitant

The Visitor Service is made up of a team that is responsible for managing visits to our facilities. We look after you from the moment you make your reservation until your stay at the property. We serve all those people, families, educational centres, companies and organisations who want to get to know us. We also take care of the shop and bar service that the facility has.
